The Professional Development Differentiated and Digitized (PD3) Immersive learning program is a 9 credit hour experience where candidates partner with an area school district to aid in the implementation of a new learning management system. Candidates also developed a 4 week STEM program for a 1st - 3rd grade after school program. Throughout the experience, candidates are critically examining the technology integration and adoption process, working closely with existing school teachers, and modeling instructional strategies for meaningful technology use within K12 instructional contexts.

S.T.E.M. After School Program

Candidates developed a four week S.T.E.M. unit for grades 1-3 focused on curcuits and electricity. Hands on activities and meaningful technology use allowed kids and candidates to learn together while modeling for our cooperating teachers.
