Published Article in JTATE Special Edition on Preservice and Inservice Professional Development During the COVID-19 Pandemic!!!


I am so excited to announce the acceptance and publication of our article, Professional development to improve communication and reduce the homework gap in grades 7-12 during COVID-19 transition to remote learning.

The article was written with two graduate students (Bryana Bunte & Ellen Robertson) who were enrolled in a course I teach on distance and flexible education. This was a great opportunity to be responsive to the needs of schools and teachers during this time. Working with Bryana and Ellen was great and their professionalism was outstanding in order to meet submission deadlines.
