Governor's Emergency Education Relief (GEER) Fund Grant Award

In conjunction with other efforts to meet the immediate and ongoing needs of schools and teachers during the COVID-19 pandemic we submitted a grant titled. "Virtual & Distance Education Teaching License Addition & Online Professional Learning Series" to the Indiana Department of Education. The $500,000 grant will support efforts in the development of the virtual and Distance education license addition and the development of a professional learning series of web-based modules for educators to learning more about learning and teaching in online instructional contexts.

Micro-Credentialing pilot grant

During the spring semester of 2019 I applied for and was awarded a IDC grant to research the implementation of a micro-credentialing system that students and I have been developing. We plan to pilot some of the micro-credentials in edtec courses and selected elementary courses in the fall 2019 semester.
